As an Early Years Specialist Teacher, I looked around lots of nurseries before choosing Blossoms for my (then) 9 month old baby. I was recommended Blossoms by a friend and I instantly loved it! Blossoms has a real home from home feel - weirdly enough, it was the staff wearing slippers that first made me feel it was both comfortable and homely. We pretty much signed our daughter up the same day and have since increased our hours. My daughter is sometimes a bit clingy at drop off but the staff always settle her so quickly. She is clearly very happy at Blossoms and she has been exposed to so many different learning opportunities and experiences both in the baby room where she started and in the 2-4 room where she is currently. We highly rate all of the staff that work with my daughter but we have particularly liked both of the key workers that my daughter has had - they both know her very well and the reports that they have formed from observations have always been accurate. My daughter is very happy at Blossoms and we would 100% recommend this nursery if you are looking for somewhere more homely with a family feel. The smaller number of children at this nursery makes it feel as though your child is having a much more bespoke nursery experience and it also means the staff know the children very well! You won’t be disappointed if your child manages to get a place at Blossoms! It’s no wonder they have a waiting list.

Both my almost 3 year old and 10 month old baby go to Blossoms. With our first, we looked around a few local nurseries and the second we stepped into Blossoms, we felt very welcome and the nursery felt like a home from home. We wanted a small nursery that was child-led, with lots of space both indoor and outdoors and Blossoms ticked all the boxes. All of the staff are very nurturing and friendly. They really do put the children first, taking a genuine interest in every single child. They are always curious to know what each individual child is interested in so it really has that personal touch. Our oldest has absolutely thrived at Blossoms and our youngest loves his day at nursery and each day is educational, varied and fun! Blossoms have exceeded our expectations from the start and we have loved attending sports day in the summer and their nativity play at christmas - we recommend Blossoms to anyone looking for a home from home, nurturing and exceptional experience for their children!

What an absolutely "Amazing" Place. Clelia was 18 months when she started and was always shy, but since becoming a Blossom has excelled and found her own little character. She loves going and is always full of chat when driving home about what she has been upto, the support that Imogen and Marnie have given her is second to none and they are always being talked about at home. They are like Clelia's Best Friends. And the nursery is like "a home from home" The staff are so down to earth, but they are super amazing alongside it and we are already dreading Clelia's last day already before she starts school. Jaye and Alex are amazing in their leadership and developing of the staff, to ensure the best possible care and learning are given to the children.

I could not recommend Blossoms enough! Feels like one big family & everyone that works there is so so lovely & absolutely adored by the children! You can see from the daily pics all the effort that goes in to activities, always something new for the kids to do & learn. They also always go the extra mile on special occasions like Mothers/ Father’s Day & kids come home with the cutest homemade gifts! Best decision we made moving to Blossoms!

As any parent, you are very anxious to leave your son somewhere at the beginning and my son is premature so he was tiny when he started at 9 months. He is almost 2 year old now and I am not disappointed in choosing Blossoms Day Nursery! They have adapted to his routine and they are treating my son like one of theirs! My son doesn't even want to come home sometimes! The most important is that we are kept up to date at least twice a day regarding their meal, if they have injured themselves, pictures,... and we always have a good chat at the beginning and at the end of the day. They are also crafting loads of different things and customising them. I can't recommend them enough!

Innovative Approach

What sets us apart is our commitment to innovation and sustainability. While we still incorporate 'traditional' toys and resources, we strive to introduce more recycled materials into our activities and free play time. By using natural and recycled goods, we provide children with the opportunity to stimulate their imaginations and creativity, encouraging them to repurpose resources in imaginative ways.

One of the hallmarks of Blossoms Day Nursery is our personal touch. Unlike other nurseries, we keep our child numbers low and maintain a small team of dedicated staff members. This ensures that each child receives dedicated time and care that is specific to their individual needs. With our small team, we can guarantee a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported on their learning journey.
